Diponegoro University (Undip), together with Kemdiktisaintek, the Ministry of Public Works (KemenPU), and the Ministry of Defence (Kemenhan), held a coordination meeting on securing state land assets as a follow-up to the supervision and control of State-Owned Assets (BMN) on Friday, 5 December 2025. The activity began at Horison Inn Antawirya Semarang and continued with site visits to the Hydraulics Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering Undip at Dr. Sutomo Kalisari and to the LPPU Undip in Tembalang.
This coordination involved various stakeholders. Present at the event were Agus Sunarya Sulaeman as Head of the Finance and State-Owned Assets (BMN) Bureau of Kemdiktisaintek, Dr. Warsito Kawedar, S.E., M.Si., Akt. as Undip Vice Rector II, and Dr. Ir. Baskoro Rochaddi, M.T. as Director of Assets and Design at Undip. The activity was also attended by the team from the Directorate General of Higher Education Secretariat (Setditjen Dikti) of Kemdiktisaintek, the State-Owned Assets Management Bureau team of the Ministry of Public Works, the team from Ministry of Defence as well as representatives from other related institutions.
As a follow-up to the supervision and control of State-Owned Assets (BMN), this activity aims to strengthen synergy among institutions in ensuring that the management, utilization, and safeguarding of state land assets are carried out in accordance with regulations. Through this coordination, it is expected that the status, use, and development plans of state assets within Undip and related institutions can be mapped more clearly and recorded in an orderly administrative manner.
The event began with a coordination session and technical discussions between Diponegoro University, the Finance and State-Owned Assets (BMN) Bureau of Kemdiktisaintek, representatives from the Directorate General of Higher Education Secretariat (Setditjen Dikti) of Kemdiktisaintek, representatives from Military Regional Command IV/Diponegoro, and representatives from the Ministry of Public Works. In this session, participants discussed measures for securing assets, updating BMN data, and strengthening cross-ministerial and inter-agency coordination in order to prevent potential legal issues in the future.
After the presentations and discussions, the delegation continued with field visits to the Hydraulics Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering Undip at Dr. Sutomo Kalisari and to the LPPU Undip in Tembalang. These visits were conducted to observe first-hand the physical condition of the land and the utilization of state assets within the Undip area, while also identifying in more detail the needs for securing and structuring these assets.
Through this series of coordination and site visits, Undip together with Kemdiktisaintek, the Ministry of Public Works (KemenPU), the Ministry of Defence (Kemenhan), and other related parties reaffirmed their commitment to continuously strengthening orderly, accountable, and transparent governance of State-Owned Assets (BMN). The outcomes of this activity are expected to serve as a basis for formulating concrete measures to secure state land assets so that these assets can continue to support the implementation of higher education, research, and community services in an optimal manner.
