UNDIP Holds SIMAK BMU 2025 Acceleration Program to Strengthen Administrative Compliance and Preparation for Public Accounting Firm Audit

Universitas Diponegoro held the SIMAK BMU Input Acceleration Program for 2025 on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, at Horison Inn Antawirya Semarang. The activity aims to reinforce administrative compliance in managing University-Owned Assets (BMU) and prepare for the upcoming audit by the Public Accounting Firm (KAP). The event was attended by university leadership and representatives from various work units involved in asset management.

Present at the event were Vice Rector II, Dr. Warsito Kawedar, S.E., M.Si., Akt., and Dr. Ir. Baskoro Rochaddi, M.T., who delivered directives on the importance of accurate, orderly, and compliant asset administration as part of UNDIP’s commitment to transparency and accountability in financial and BMU management.

In his remarks, Dr. Warsito Kawedar emphasized that “to meet the Majelis Wali Amanat target, we will accelerate, accelerating SIMAK BMU input is an important part of ensuring that all university asset transactions are properly recorded.” He emphasized that the quality of BMU data not only affects the presentation of financial reports, but is also a major audit concern.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ir. Baskoro Rochaddi noted that discrepancies between absorbed budgets and transaction data recorded in SIMAK BMU remain significant. Acceleration efforts will take place in early December and continue through early January. He encouraged every unit to fully understand the input and verification procedures to avoid recurring errors that may hinder the reporting process.

Following the presentations, all work units proceeded with the direct SIMAK BMU transaction input session, ensuring that all data was completed according to the set targets. This session also served as a moment for synchronization and data alignment across units to ensure that the 2025 asset report can be submitted accurately and on schedule.

At the end of the event, the Directorate of Assets and Planning presented appreciation awards to units in three categories:

  1. The earliest unit to arrive on-site,

  2. The unit with the highest number of transactions input during the session, and

  3. The fastest unit to complete all tasks related to SIMAK BMU

These awards served as a form of motivation and recognition for the units’ commitment to supporting orderly asset administration within the university.

Through this activity, Universitas Diponegoro reaffirms its commitment to achieving asset management that is orderly, accurate, and aligned with national reporting standards. The SIMAK BMU 2025 acceleration initiative is expected to strengthen UNDIP’s readiness for the KAP audit and foster a more professional, accountable, and sustainable asset governance environment.
